You may not have heard of Jim Ratcliffe, but he is in your life from the moment you wake up until you go to sleep. He is responsible for the plastic cap on your toothpaste tube to the chlorine that cleans the water you use to brush your teeth. Many of the things you use during the day that are made using chemicals “we’ve had a hand in,” he says with a smile…
The above is part of Mr. Ratcliffe’s profile that I borrowed from (his) INEOS website. I see chemicals and plastics. I see human cancer, malformed babies and chronic illnesses. I see depleted marine life. I see choked oceans and a suffocated Mother Earth due to what INEOS manufactures. Read the company’s icon — “the world for chemicals.” Mr. Ratcliffe knows this very well — that he is a chemical and plastic ambassador. That is why (and being a shrewd businessman) he has identified his company with key world sports and activities that can help cover the real wound he has caused Earth for money.
The whole world is now talking about Eliud Kipchoge’s 1:59:40:2 in INEOS 1:59 Challenge and NOT the dangers that INEOS and such other companies pose to human life, wild life, and the very existence of Planet Earth. Folks, money, power and fame are sweat, but at what expense?
