Kenya’s Ferdinand Omanyala has smashed the national 100m record at the Kipkeino Classic Continental tour.
Omanyala, the new boy-wonder set a new record of 9.76 seconds, finishing second behind Trayvon Bromell of the United States who won in 9.75 Seconds.
Omanyala is also the fastest African man in history.
Omanyala celebrated the new milestone in front of President Uhuru Kenyatta who was at the Kasarani Stadium.
